Hey everybody! Sorry I’ve been incognito lately. Been busy with gigs, traveling, and I’ve been trying to sell my house (knock on wood).
Â
It’s the first day of Spring and we have 4″ of snow on the ground outside my apartmet in Kansas City. ???
Â
We’ve had some ups and some downs recently. By now you’ve all heard that we lost our great friend, Fitz. He left some big shoes to fill. Everyone in the Twin Cities Irish community will have to work a little harder just to make up a fraction of what Fitz did on his own.  Fitz, you are missed by all.
Â
Here’s a quick story of the people who decided to by my house… I’ve had a For Sale sign in my window for too long now. Out of the blue I got a call from an interested buyer. She indicated that she had been looking at a lot of places in my neighborhood. Still, she was interested in taking a look and she had a few questions.Â
 ”Are you the original owner?”
“Yes.”
“Do you smoke?”
“No.”
“You’re white, right?”
After a long pause I gave an even longer reply, “Uuuuummmmmmmmmmm…”
“Oh my goodness! I mean your house! Your house is white, right?”
Phew! “Yes, it’s white.” We had a good laugh about it but, needless to say, she was still embarrassed. But it was for the best as she and her husband are planning on buying my house. It’ll be nice to get rid of the extra expense each month. All’s well that ends well!
