The recognition keeps coming in! We hate to toot our own horns, but it’s nice to be recognized for your efforts, ya know?
To that end, we’re proud to announce that Heads or Tails has been included in Paddy Rock Radio’s 25 “Best Celtic Rock and Punk Albums for 2011″ list!
Those of you who have the album, thank you for buying it and we hope you are enjoying it!

We are ecstatic to announce we’ve been nominated for an award! The Irish Music Association of Kansas City has nominated WCB for “Top Traditional Performance Show”, as part of their annual Irish Music Awards. Also nominated are Kintra, Trad on the Prom and the inevitable winners, Celtic Women (just a little tongue-in-cheek humor there folks). As the only group in the list not actually, you know… FROM Ireland, we are happy to even be included.
This is our second IMA nomination, having also been nominated in 2009 in the “Top Duo in a Pub, Festival or Concert” category.
This is a public vote competition, so if you have a moment, please go to The Irish Music Association’s website, and vote for WCB! You need to register to become a member in order to vote, but it’s free and we think you can vote as early and as often as you wish… ahem.
